ALTURA / Scent & Memory
A fragrance can become a place.
Why does a familiar scent seem to return us to a particular kitchen, a particular season or a particular person? Smell has especially direct connections to neural systems involved in emotion and memory. That relationship makes fragrance a compelling language for storytelling.
For Amor Andino, a candle is an object with two lives: one on the shelf, another in the atmosphere of a room. Warm coffee and cacao suggest intimate rituals. Citrus brings brightness. Evergreen makes winter feel close. Eucalyptus and peppermint suggest clarity and freshness.
We are developing fragrance concepts carefully and will share production notes as each scent completes testing. This journal is where customers can understand the inspiration, not just read a product label.
